CandeCAD Pro for Students The CandeCAD Pro student license is a fully functional executable version of the normal program but limited to solving smaller problems. It incorporates all the commands and features of the normal version. The student version can model up to 250 elements whereas the professional version can handle around 10000 elements.

Installation instructions - unzip the file on download completion:

1. Install CandeCAD Pro for Students on your computer by double clicking on the CandeCAD Pro 2002 22 June '04.zip file.

2. Simply follow the instructions during installation. CandeCAD Pro for Students will be installed to the default directory C:\CandeCAD.

3. Start AutoCAD

3.1 Loading CandeCAD for Students Menu.
*Use the [Tools][Customize Menus] menu to view the [Customize Menus] display window.
*Select the [Menu Groups] tab.
*Select the [Browse] button to search for the CANDECAD menu file located in the CandeCAD installation path.
*Select the [Load] button and CANDECAD should be added to the Menu Groups list box.

*Select the [Menu Bar] tab.
*Select CANDECAD from the [Menu Group] list box. CandeCAD for Students should now be highlighted in the [Menus] display box.
*Use your mouse to select [Window] under the [Menu Bar] display window on the right. Click [Insert] and CandeCAD for Students will be added to the AutoCAD menu bar. You can change the positoin of the CandeCAD for Students menu item by highlighting items other than [Window].

*[Close] to exit.

3.2 Loading the CandeCAD for Students Toolbars.
*Select the [View][Toolbars] menu to view the [Toolbars] display window.
*Select CANDECAD from the drop down [Menu Group] list box.
*The available toolbars are displayed. Select the check box next to [Utility].
*[Close] to exit.

Activation Instructions

*Select [CandeCAD][Activate Program] to obtain the Return Code.
*Click on [E-mail] to send the Return Code to SSIS Marketing International using your default e-mail program. You can send it later to activate@ssismint.com or fax it to:

Please make sure to include your name, company name and Reference Number (supplied to you during purchase) on the faxed sheet.

*As soon as your Return Code is received, and your order is approved (which may vary depending on your method of payment), an Activation Code will be sent to your e-mail address.
*Select [CandeCAD][Activate Program] and carefully type your Activation Code in the space provided.
*[OK] to close the window and activate the software.
