Q. Will it be safe to fill in the online purchase form with my personal details?

Q. Is CandeCAD Pro a stand alone program or does it require other software applications to run?
A. CandeCAD Pro is not a stand alone program because it runs inside AutoCAD. You must have AutoCAD 2000, 2002, 2004 Mechanical or Mechanical Desktop running on your computer for CandeCAD Pro to work.

Q. Can I install a licensed copy of CandeCAD Pro on both my desktop computer at the office and my portable computer?
A. Yes. We do allow a licensed CandeCAD Pro user to install the software on a desktop and a laptop computer for use by the licensed user. Kindly note that we do check the AutoCAD serial number to ensure that the software is being used by the same user. There is a $75 (USD) administration fee payable by the user for obtaining a second activation code. We only allow each user to receive two activation codes.

Q. Will CandeCAD Pro run inside AutoCAD LT or do I need the full AutoCAD version?
A. No. AutoCAD LT is not supported as it does not include all the functionality that is required to run CandeCAD Pro. You will have to upgrade to AutoCAD 2000, 2002, 2004 Mechanical or Mechanical Desktop for CandeCAD Pro to work.

Q. Is there a network version of CandeCAD Pro?
A. No. You are required to own and install a single license for each workstation that uses CandeCAD Pro. However, computers connected to a network can run CandeCAD Pro as long as you have AutoCAD installed on them and you purchase a CandeCAD Pro license for each computer that you want to use it on.

Q. What happens if I want to upgrade my computer in future? Will CandeCAD Pro still work?
A. Once you upgrade your computer the software lock will kick in and your original Activation Code will no longer work. Therefore, CandeCAD Pro will not work on the upgraded computer (it is however dependent on the extent of the upgrade). You will have to supply us with the following information in order to obtain a new Activation Code:
1) letter confirming that you have upgraded your computer and that you will no longer be using your previous Activation Code,
2) new Return Code, and
3) pre-paid proof of payment of administration fee ($75).

Q. What are the minimum system requirements for CandeCAD Pro?
A. The minimum system requirements for CandeCAD Pro are exactly the same as for AutoCAD. You will need:
Hardware: Intel® Pentium® II or AMD K6-II based PC with 450MHz or higher processor
Operating System: Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional, 2000 Professional, 98, ME, or NT® 4.0 (SP5 or later)
RAM: 128MB RAM
Other: 200MB or more free disk space, VGA display 1024x768 or higher, CD-ROM drive, Mouse or other pointing device
